Of COURSE at the end of the day when it was raining and he had just been given a vision of his OLDEST FUCKING FRIEND BEING SENT LIKE A LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER and fucking THEN saw that same friend UNCONSCIOUS next to his DEAD BETROTHED, THEN had think fast and stop Ravus from skewering Noct, Ignis crumbled more. And of FUCKING COURSE HE SNAPPED ENTIRELY WHEN ARDYN WAS ABOUT TO FUCKING KILL NOCT AND HE WAS PINNED ON THE GROUND AND HELPLESS TO STOP IT WHEN HEāD BEEN THROUGH THE WRINGER ALL DAY TRYING TO REACH HIM AND GET HIM TO SAFETY.
I DARE YOU TO TRY AND KEEP CALM THROUGH THAT AMOUNT OF EMOTIONAL TRAUMA AT *ANY* AGE LET ALONE TWENTY *FUCKING* TWO YEARS OLD WHICH IS BASICALLY STILL A BABY WHEN YOUāRE TALKING ABOUT EMOTIONAL MATURITY AND LIFE EXPERIENCE.

Stomped on the face hard enough to make him black out for an unknown length of time
Probably stomped again before being taken to Zegnautus Keep because he lost consciousness again
Subjected to more visions that appeared to make his head hurt
Kicked so hard he was sent rolling several fucking feet and left dazed
PELTED WITH THE GLAIVES OF KINGS PAST UNTIL HE FELL DOWN GASPING AND THEN PELTED SOME MOREĀ AFTER THAT
DROPPED FROM GREAT A HEIGHT
AND THEN HE PROBABLY HAD ALL OF HIS NON-FLOATING RIBS CRACKED OR STRAIGHT-UP SHATTERED WHEN ARDYN FUCKING STEPPED ON HIS STERNUM
I THINK IāD PROBABLY SNAP AND SAY āTHIS WORLD ISNāT WORTH SAVING WITHOUT THIS PERSON I LOVEā TOO!!!
And again, his youth and inexperience plays a role in him snapping; heās probably never been in that much pain ever in his life. Being subjected to a new extreme of pain is mind-altering.
Also, no shade on Adam Croasdell, heās amazing, but Japanese VAs know how to get emotion across painfully well in wordless vocalizations andĀ Mamoru Miyano is no exception.Ā
